From gorgeous beaches, like Aiguablava (Begur) that usually is in the ranking of best beaches of Spain, to postcard landscapes like the village of Cadaqués or Calella de Palafrugell.

Pyrenees of Girona

Mountains with around 3.000 m and valleys like La Cerdanya or Camprodon are part of Pyrenees of Girona, where we find 4 ski stations. With snow or without it, you can enjoy walking through the mountains, reach iconic sites like the Sanctuary of Nuria or, for the most adventurous, the top of Puigmal.

The natural park of la Garrotxa volcanoes is one of the best volcanic landscapes of the Iberian Peninsula. Besides volcanoes and rests of its activity, in the park you can find another of the most beautiful sites of Girona. The Fageda d’en Jordà, a forest of beches where walk is one of the most pleasant experiences.

These ways pass through the province and are used by hikers and cyclists, from professional groups to families with children. They are routes that had been used by old rails and nowadays are used for the leisure. They are not too difficult, so they allow journeys adapted to everyone.
